Sukaina (سكينة) is the diminutive of the Arabic sakīna (tranquility, divine presence). Sayyida Sukaina bint al-Husayn (c. 671-735) was the daughter of Imam Husayn and great-granddaughter of Prophet Muhammad — a poet and patron of literature in early Islamic Medina.
