Zibiah (צִבְיָה) means "female gazelle" in Hebrew. In 2 Kings 12:1, Zibiah of Beersheba was the mother of King Joash of Judah — who was rescued as an infant by his aunt Jehosheba and crowned king at age seven after Athaliah's tyranny.
